I need to rebuild all the structural frame parts for including the weirdo box that the leaf spring pear mounts on. If you got any of these parts for sale that are relatively rust free or clean enough for being rewelded, with clean metal, please post pics here. I got cash in hand. let me know.

Welcome to FCBO, Matt.
Before you get further in, do you realize how big a job that is?
It's a unibody unit, not a body on frame car.

I probably have two sets, I am currently removing a floor pan from a rear chassis unit here. I can take more pics once that is done.

I know it's a big job. I already removed the trunk floor. The spot welds were SUCH A PAIN. But I spent 2k on this car and the rear sub frame is really bad. I don't think I have much of a choice. My choice is fix the frame or part it out. I love the car, I don't want to give up so in for a penny, in for a pound. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Wow, I see that place you're in. The one between a rock and a hard wall.
I'd like to see it done. It's a looker.

Stan, Stan, Stan... how quickly people forget that this is achievable:lol:

I know of a member here personally that took this on and did the next to impossible.
All it takes is time, money, & ambition mixed with a good dose of insanity...

It's a matter of finding the donor parts and having a good frame to clamp the car including the right tools and skill set so it comes out nice and straight.....

No beer is allowed during this lengthy operation...

Holy Moley! You are my new hero!

Compare that to how many started out to do that....
You're one out a 1,000 that wanted to do it.
That is True sir... if I could have avoided it, I would have but I got into deeper water than expected and it was a sink or swim situation
I got lucky finding the oem steel when I did no doubt about that.
The next major project is to tackle the exterior panels and straighten my baby out and take it to the level where I am afraid to drive it LOL!

Hello Matt,

Yes I have a complete rear frame from a 1967 Fury " C Body " convertible. It comes with the rear end. Are you still in need? It has surface rust scale. The rails and spring mounts are solid. The trunk floor section is tender with some holes. I will post some pics here. If your interested let me know. Thank's Paul P.S I also have front sub frame as well

a67furyman, where are you? how do I get the parts? can it all be shipped?
Well I would not trust shipping some thing this large. I am in Yorktown Heights , New York. You can explore if a car transport company will pick this rolling rear chassis. Another option is picking it up with a u-haul car trailer and driving it home. email me directly, [email protected] so you can provide me with your phone #. I find typing laborious, much rather talk to a person than type.
Hope to hear from you soon. Paul
