Diabetes sucks...
Yup. Being misdiagnosed type II for three years before finding out you're actually type I with an a1c of 11.7 for the previous 2 years (at least) really sucks too. ..
like, "almost ended up like Laverne" sucks.
Mines been down as low as 6.3 ... It went from 11.7 to 9.4 to 6.3 and it's been up a bit lately but nothing like that.Wow! That's high. I hope it's under control now.

I'm quite surprised that I can still see!
Oddly, after three years of skyrocketed blood sugar levels, a trip to the eye doctor revealed 20/20 vision, no sign of cataract and very slight retinal hemorrhaging.I just had cataract surgery literally last week. The other eye was done a month ago. What a quality of life improvement!!!
I know it's not the right thing to say but.....
The doctor was threatening to take my drivers license away or modify my license so I can only drive near my house during daylight hours. I was going to tell her that if my license is taken away....I'm still going to drive.

Going on Friday for my quarterly appointment
The doctor isn’t going to be happy with me

I'm thankful after the life I've lead and the rather outrageous decisions I've made that this is all I have to deal with. It's still a PITA though.
Nothing with vitamin K be sure of the blood thinners I'm taking.
I hope things get better down the road for you guys!!!
