Pics are from the Mopar Happening show yesterday in Belvidere, IL.
Both 62's has the 413 w/dual quads, the New Yorker was in the car corral listed at $7500, the 65 300 was also for sale, and the convertible Polara sold yesterday at $23K per the note listed on the sign.

The 62 Plymouth was one of my favorites. I sounded wicked.
The Dart was in the car corral, listed at $32K. A 26K mile car.
The Coronet 500 drew my attention when I saw the sunroof. After talking with the owner, he engineered the roof using the sunroof from an 85 Mercedes. It was nicely done.

Last of the pics.
Met up with Wyatt with his wagon at the show, and left after the awards. They even gave me an award for the 300. Later we headed over to his shop for some cold ones before making my way back home.

BTW, I managed to speak with a few of the C Body owners when I saw them near their cars, about our annual show at Volo and asked them to join us next year.
Hope to see that white 62 convertible (he also owns a black 65 300L convertible, 4-speed...beautiful car) and the 69 300 make it, as well as the family with all 5 of their 70 300's.

The Blue ‘68 Polara was in E-bay a couple of weeks ago for $23K it looked in almost perfect condition. Your thoughts on the condition?
I really like that color combo

I agree with your opinion of the color combination. I didn't look over the car that close, but it did look really straight and well taken care of from what I could see. The hood was closed, so I only saw 1/2 the car.
The fact that it sold for $23K, the buyer must of felt it was worth the coin for this beauty. I'm sure the seller felt good about the sale too.

I love the headlights on that 62 300.
The two cars that I liked the best from this show were both '62's. The white 300 convertible, which took first place in it's class, and the black 62 Plymouth with the dual quad 413.

Can't say I did, but there was a nice 71 GTX 440+6 car on the show field. A lot of people don't like the 71/72 RR/GTX body style, but I always have.
As for the award, I truly didn't expect it, and I'm not a trophy collector. There were other C's there yesterday that should have gotten an award IMO. But with the typical smaller showing of C's, especially with the one class size for all the C's, its usually 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Done.
Now compare that to A/B/E awards broken down by Dodge and Plymouth into each their own category, then original, modified, etc, 62-65, 66-67, 68-70, 71-74, etc, etc, etc.....you get the picture. The metric cars seem to have as almost as many categories nowadays. They all deserve awards for the time put into their cars too. So, not being critical, and glad to see the Mopar hobby is still pretty strong around here. I still like going to these shows and seeing the cars.

Nice pics, sixpkrt...
The black '62 and the blue '65 go to the Monday night cruise night sometimes...
