OK you truckers...

Oh wise forum, A friend is looking for a large truck to haul hay with, currently uses a 2wd dodge dually w 5.9. He's wanting something along the lines of a kodiak or similar.
So, I do a search and stumble across 6500, 7500 Dodge trucks south of the border. Not much info (google) on these other than 3500 cab with extensions. A few diesel forums have bad links to info about them, but come up short on info. Anyone have more info about these mysterious beasts?

Yes, 5500 is the biggest we can get here to my knowledge. I've found rumours of 2 ton chassis for the 6500-7500 but not much in the way of firm specs on them.

Whew. At 1:56 I had to stop and take a coffee break.

I've heard of trailers set up so you could load and unload the jeep yourself but never seen one in action. Not sure it serves much purpose in the end with that type of trailer when you still need a forklift or a crane to undeck and install the booster.

It could be handy on mine if I was just running 3 axles or a closed 4 on the trailer and just needed the jeep.

You have to plan your entrance and exits because backing up especially with the booster is not an option unless you are straight to begin with. There is a pin to lock the back axle straight and on mine it's possible to pick it up hydraulically. Then all you have to do is deal with the jeep which is a challenge itself because it's so short.
