C body Chrysler value seemingly on the rise

Would mind telling me how much you sold your 70 Convertible for? I have one and I am thinking of selling it. Thank you

My case would not be a good guide because I sold it at a loss since I liked the situation going on up there in Wyoming. It is a young couple starting out in new careers so I just wanted them to have it. They are really excited about these cars. The car is a B5 blue convertible with a good amount of options and the T code engine plus buckets/console, tilt wheel and a bunch of other options. It only has about 50K miles on it and runs well but it needs some right side body work due to a minimal swipe of the rear quarter panel. It was less than $3K if that helps. If the situation had not been like it is, I would not have sold it for any less than twice what I got for it.

I am 26 and love these cars. Do we have any else in my age bracket on here or is it just me?

I’m 26 and have a few cars (had 30 in the past 9 years lol). Wyatt and Nick are both in our age group as well. I find the C bodies in Canada are getting up in price due to the rarity. Easiest cars to find here are A bodies oddly enough.

Nice to be acquainted to another member on the same boat as me. Ive had about 60 cars total. Not all C bodies though only because they are so hard to find around here in NJ. At this point any fuselage coupe I can save I will pickup.

By the way since you said you are from Canada, have you heard of DavesFarm on YouTube?

I have not heard of Davesfarm.

I don’t just have C bodies, not all Mopar either. I’ll buy any classic if the price is right! Mopar is just my favourite. I do have a few of the rare oddball cars like a 67 Cougar GT (390 big block car) and my 2 Fury’s. I’ve always wanted a 1971-74 Roadrunner but they’re always priced out of my range.

I may be retired but I’m still a “young soul”.
She calls it immature.

DavesFarm was one of the top 10 Youtubers back between 2008-2010. His videos had all kinds of mechanical content and some controversial as well. His farm was located in Lucan Ontario. Most of his videos are still up archived. He had a few C Bodies too.

My soul tells me I'm roughly 55-65

I dont understand or like a majority of my generation. That's why most of my friends these days have some years on me.

Emotional and sentimental purchases make the C body market value hard to determine. End of story.

They get super attention over here in NJ. More attention then my Dads 67 GTO. I cant explain how or why.

i take my cars to many local shows. they get no attention

My Polaras and Dads last 3 cars were Cs and people look hard. Some don't but that's ok, I walk by most too.
My cars got more looks at Mopar only shows. I'm down to one, the worse conditioned of the three. It gets lots of attention.

I also cant recall a show I have gone too where they was another C other than my own. My bronze poly 70 newport coupe gets hard looks for sure. My theory is since it is a car less seen it gets that much more attention.

Last year I went to a Mopar cruise night at the Stewerts at Seaside Heights, right on the bay. My car was looked at by a few but the ones that did were all over it. One guy I thought was gonna have a stroke, he couldn't believe what he was looking at.

Honestly, I wanna be left alone at these places.

I know exactly where that Stewarts is. Nice location for a cruise night. And I agree, I'd rather not be bothered either.

Ratty mopars get more love Dave. It's the trend these days. Sure shiny nice and perfect is obviously the goal, but each car ages differently. It tells the story. It attracts attention.

I'll never forget what @MarPar s girl said about the wagon at Carlisle..."He actually drove THAT here???" Hell yes I did, and you better believe I put at least 2k more on over summer. One guy said, "I've seen some bad 69/70 Dashpads in my day, but this wagon is the worst I've ever seen"

I'm sure those comments were made to make me make the car better, but I took them as compliments!

Ratty/roadkill/scruffy is in right now. Missouri doesnt fit that criteria to me. Shes a gorgeous car.

Has the blue one moved on to a new caretaker?
