Happens to me too. I just pull up the giant pic on my phone and screenshot it that seems to automatically down size it pain free. I wouldn’t know how to do it otherwise...

depending on the phone, there should be a way to take smaller photos to begin with -- Generally have zero use for photos so large....

it depends on the phone --- Bonus - it saves alot of storage if you bring the size down

If you get pics to your computer use windows paint to resize to no more than 800x800 pixels, that uploads nice to the forums. instructions to do this is just a google away.
