In addressing the title of the post, I'll speculate that most of these trees are what I'd call garbage or weed trees: typically fast growing (and weak wood). In the pictures with cut grass, the vehicle serves as a decorative planter.

Probably a lot of Cottonwood, an absolute GARBAGE tree. I purchased an investment property last year and spent over $4k cutting down garbage trees that were surely planted as the result of bird taking a sh*t. A decade ago, you probably could have cut them down in 20 mins with pruners. :BangHead: The wood is useless and even stinks like sulfur when cut... Not to mention the metric ton of "fuzz" that coats every surrounding AC condenser.

On the upside, I'm a hero to the neighbors now.

This one looks like one I've seen here in Minnesota. Now I have to drive by and verify, or add another one to this thread. The one I know of was deliberately put there.
