There is good floor metal in the passenger area, rest of the body is pretty much gone. No title, 360, parts car at about $750 max..

Dare i say, you could eat off those front floor pans. Wish the outside metal was as clean as those floors.

Points for about as honest presentation as you'll find. Floor and trunk pans look pretty amazing. Too bad about the rest of the sheetmetal. It would make a good donor car. $500.00?

Would need to see more of it, has disc brakes and probably an 8.75 rear. The floor metal is probably worth about $500 to somebody who needs it. Also looks to have a good washer bottle and an OEM heater valve. There are some good parts here.

You're correct Dave. Sometimes I look over the small stuff, like you stated the washer bottle etc. I do forget that that stuff has value. Thanks for the reminder. I'll try to be more aware ...

That car is a diamond in the rough...needs somebody with a rusty 71 and nice parts to fix it up...wonder who that may be...

I dont see what's wrong with the rest of the body? You guys are pretty rough on cars you have no intention of even considering. Sure it needs a little bit here and there but overall it's a pretty solid west coast body for someone that needs one.

I see potential for sure. Looks like a good canvas for some wanting to do some customizing without molestering an original desent car.

A major project for sure but aside from the drivers quarter I don't see any overly challenging repairs on the body. Based on the pics the rest seem to be straight forward patches or am I missing something?

You aren't missing anything except the fact that the experts here seem to expect every 50 year old C body to be perfect. If it's not and it's a project...it's a worthless parts car.

There is good floor metal in the passenger area,

I enlarged the drivers side and it looks very good, I thought it may have been sprayed to cover the rust but the body plugs show no sign of over spray. I think the whole front is good.
Would like to see the back seat area as I think that is vinyl roof trim on the dutchman panel and the holes maybe the reason for the trunk rust.
Door panels look good for a desert baked car but that maybe due to the tint on the windows that has been there for decades. I give it a...

Oh yeah your welcome for having the seller get pictures of all the areas commonly rotted out. I was and still am considering this car.

Someone buy the dealer demo FK5 monaco from me so I can build this instead.

If you like the car by all means go buy it. You are probably starting with a car with a dead 360 and no title. Body is certainly repairable, most of the exterior trim is gone. There is at least $4k in body work and another $4k in paint, all doable. You will have to really love this car because I do not see any way to make it road worthy and presentable for under $20k unless you are one of those rare individuals who can do all the work yourself. Good luck.
