Looking for a 1966 Chrysler 300 left tail light bezel and lens. Manchester Connecticut area.

Send Detmat a PM. He has a thread on how he made new lenses. He may make you a new one. These taillights were hard to get 50 years ago, now if you find one it will cost you your first born male child.

Wasn't that zymurgy?

Thank you ... appreciate the fast response. Would love to find a taillight bezel too.

You're welcome, yes that bezel is probably the hardest thing to come by as any other c-body part. You just never see them unless they are damaged.

If you find the right guy to re-chrome them he could do the repair. I would recommend my guy, but he said not to recommend him to anyone. They must be a real pain to re-chrome. I have a feeling he bent the crap out of it when he was buffing it out and had to start over.

I can't help you on the parts. Is your car a 4 door hardtop with a black interior and black specked cloth seat covers on the front seats? If yes, it is likely my former car that I sold around 2005. The VIN ended in 145598. I sold the car to guy from Rhode Island and I thought he sold it to someone in Mass. I lived in CT until last fall. If you have my former car I can give you the background on it and if it is my former car it is right back home where the original owner lived. Please post some additional photos. Here is a photo of my current '66 300 right before I bought it.

I’ve been meaning to post the fender tag, a better man than I can decode it. I haven’t gotten the knack of it. I have always believed it’s a factory original red but not sure which red. Has a black vinyl interior with column shift.

I found the build sheet in the backseat cushion ... Doesn’t reveal any huge surprises.

Thanks! I would do a new post asking for help with decoding the fender tag and build sheet or if you Google decoding MOPAR fender tag you should get a few sites where you can decode them.
