Time travel: what MoPar would you get?

For a C-body it would be a 1970 Sport Fury GT V-code. Black with burnt orange interior and stripes. Optionted with buckets/console, rimblow, Power windows and tinted glass.

As for a non C-body, I would go with a 1970 Super Bee V-code four speed post car. I'd choose F8 green, green interior, ledger green C-stripe and a gator grain top. Gotta have buckets/console, tinted glass, rallye's, hood pins, bumperette's front and rear and AM 8-track. My buddy has a 70 Bee with a 383 auto that has most of these options and it's such a cool car. Too bad so many of them got wrecked out as they weren't terribly popular back in the day.
 
Whichever got me hideaway headlights, and a 440 six-pack is what I'm talking.

Gotcha, both S/23 and GT got hideaway headlights but if you got the 6 BBL then that would be the GT. S/23 did not come with the 440, period. Why I don't know but the biggest engine in that would be 383 Hi-Po (4bbl)
 
A high impact FJ5 or FC7 U code 71 Polara.

Could such a car be ordered?
Make it a double ( Brougham ), with white power buckets and a console, Roadwheels, dual side view mirrors, cornering lights, tilt, speed control, am / fm, rear defogger, sure grip, trunk dress up, vacuum trunk release, power discs.

No air, no bumper guards.

If I were to order a 1971 Dodge Polara Brougham, I would add H51 A/C (in fact, the whole A07 AC Special package), A35 Trailer Towing package with D91 SureGrip, N88 cruise control, N41 dual exhaust (which would be std if the salesman could be convinced to special-order a U code "off the books"), and while I'm at it power windows and driver's bucket seat. Nowwhat about the color? GA8 for stealth, GB7 or GJ4 for pop, FQ5 for whimsy, that's a tough one.

This said, for sheer elegance, it is hard to beat a 1960 Imperial and for overall package, a 1960 or 1961 Chrysler 300F or G.

I am sure it could of, but I am sure Chrysler would NOT of approved it. Look at Dave's former GY3 Yellow car for example.

With a hefty down payment a dealer would order just about anything years ago.
This usually pertained to odd color combinations or options from the factory.
Swapping in a Hemi or adding a/c in a 6 pack or Hemi car would be done at the dealership.
A lot of Shaker assemblies were installed at dealers. There was a stockpile of them as they were expensive and not real popular. A desler would install them on customer’s used cars to get rid of the stock. Also why they were eventually made available on all H.P. “E” bodies.
 
'68 Hemi Charger, with a 4 speed. PS, no PB, black, black, black, with a black bumble bee stripe. Then trade it next year for a A12 Super Bee.

First) 1961 New Yorker T&C 9 passenger in just about any colour, with power everything, autopilot, dual AC.

This is IT for me. I got to see this car in person at the Saratoga Auto Auction 2018. 1 of 18 designed for nascar, but never happened. 3 spd manual and Chrysler sent them to Snyder cams and had them put a big roller in them. This car sounds ignorant! Got to talk to the older Gentleman who has owned it for over 50 yrs. He used to race on beach on the west coast. It has the perfect smell and patina.
 
That’s easy, 1969 Chrysler 300 convertible. It’d have blue paint red interior, white top and a dealer installed 426 hemi automatic and throw in some AC too because why not.



I’d keep the recall wheels...
