I just had my motor rebuilt it’s a 440 and it has some smoke coming out the breathers not a lot but you can see it. I know that there’s supposed to be a pcv valve on it I think but I don’t have one. Is this just crankcase pressure??? Any help would be great thanks.

Sounds like it. You should add a PCV valve if your valve covers will allow it. Since the engine is real fresh, the rings may not be fully seated yet and the blowby could lessen and disappear fairly soon.

When you primed the pump, did you rotate the engine slowly to make sure oil is getting to the top end? If you did not do this, you are starving the top end of oil which could be the cause of your smoke.

Yea it was primed I had it rebuilt by Scott goshert in pa idk if you have ever herd of him but he’s really good from everyone I’ve ever talked to and he knows mopars he dose like 6 figure cars so I know it was done right. I talked to him today there’s maybe 40 miles on the motor since the rebuild he said it will get a little better as the rings break in and also to put a pcv valve on it so I’m going to do that.

Definitely add a PCV system. Doesn't need to be hooked to the air cleaner, but minimum to the carb.

The engine needs to breathe and that PCV is the way it does. Many years ago I decided against a PCV on a SBC 327 because I had a Moroso air cleaner and it looked cool without the hoses... next thing I knew the motor was loud on top and I had light foam coming out of my breathers from the hot oil gases in the crankcase. I hooked it all up, engine was nice and quiet and ran even better.
