Geeesh another after market disc brake conversion question

No offense to those folks that talked about the benefits of Chrysler parts as a retrofit. I think I'm just getting a little too old (lazy) to go through the extra hassle of assembling a set up myself.
Thank you all again for the information and education.

I think your being very prudent about your decision, you're going to have all new, clean parts to deal with and not have to worry about other problems with dirty, wrong parts. Good Luck

Yes, I'll do a set of pics as I go along, it's going to be a little bit of a haul been working on these improvements (changes) since I retired. The 66 is getting painted, disc breaks, new tires and lowered all at one time.
Pic's of the install would be great.

I have the SSBC kit on my '66 New Yorker, put it on about 10 years ago but I bet it's unchanged.

I didn't see an answer about your wheel size, but it won't work with 14" wheels despite what they claim. The calipers and the wheels can't occupy the same space!

I did make a go of it for a while by using 1/4" (I think) wheel spacers, but ultimately I upgraded to 15" wheels.

The system works fine, but in the meantime I have amassed the parts for the '73 Mopar conversion, which will be happening some day....

I switched to 15 inch wheels a while back, I think they fill the wheel wells a lot better than stock.
