KYB shocks and shocks

It will be awhile, she's going into body shop this week. The little bit I drove this weekend she drove nice. Was a little stiffer ride than I was used to but the shocks that were in there were toast.

After driving her all of about 15 miles today she drives really nice. Feels stiff hitting any bumps or small potholes but otherwise felt good. Will be a couple of weeks before I can report more.

To those who used the KYB front shocks, did you have any problems getting them installed and what is the best way to do it?

I did it like this:

No prob.
make sure the belt buckle is as far downwards as possible; preferably further down than on my picture, cuz it's a tight fit in that tunnel.

After the shock was located in the tunnel (but before mounting) I burnt the belt off on top of the shock from above, with a lighter. It's polyester, so it only takes about 3 seconds.

Good luck!
