its funny you mention something wrong with a valve, I wasn't Sure it was related but cylinder 6 has low compression. I tested them all and they were 160-170 but cylinder 6 was 125ish. I dumped a bit of oil in the cylinder and rolled it over to see if It was the rings and it didn't change at all...

That shows where the exhaust tube went in, the chamber and the two journals that went to the venturi below the butterflies. The gasket blocks that chamber off from anything else it is its own specific circuit
