Okay, I'm here to eat a bit of crow. You were correct. I checked the pressure output of the pump and it was at 200 PSI. ordered the new pump, put it on and wala I have power steering. Thanks again!!!

Yeah, I agree, that's why I removed the high pressure line and cranked the motor to check for flow. It had a lot of flow. I thought I mentioned that.

Thanks you for your input. I did mention in my first post question that it is a federal pump. No worries, I appreciate all the help. It is no longer leaking but I still have the hardness while in a parking lot. I'm sure I adjusted the pump tension correctly but I will do it again just to make sure.

The person that I bought the pump from said to use ATF, so I wanted to stay in there guidelines in case of a warranty issue. Figured it out. MSD 6AL 2 went bad.

The MSD box has a direct 12 volt connection from the battery to run it and another tied to the ignition for start up.
