SOLD Imperial Lebaron 1970 parting out Europe

Is the front disc? brakes setup compatible (spindles, rotors, booster) with standard c-bodies for the drum to discs upgrade? I have not seen Imperials listed as a possible donor for this upgrade, so I guess it's not compatible, or there are some other parts (rotors) difficult to find which makes...

NOT MINE 1969 Polara 500 convertible (R6 red with 3-speed manual transmission)

I noticed the car in the promo photo has a rear reflective plastic on the rear side. Interesting, mine, or any other car on pictures in this thread, does not have it while the front one is common.

NOT MINE 1969 Polara 500 convertible (R6 red with 3-speed manual transmission)

In fact, its missing the mounting holes for the trunk trim. It looks like it was intentionally deleted while making the new paint?

    C body brakes

I was adjusting the front brakes recently (11x3 drums) and noticed there is a spacer ring with the holes for the studs fitting the bolt pattern, which is good 1/8 inch thick. Perhaps it's leftover when the car used finned drums many years ago, which do not fit well with my Magnum 500 rims. I...

    C body brakes

I´m considering buying a new hardware kit (springs, etc) for the front drum brake 11x3 but all I can find on Rockauto is a front set for the 11x2,75 DORMAN HW7132 kit. Does it makes any difference for the width of the shoes being larger 11x3 or shall I stick with the kit following the springs...

This is a super lite dash bezel from the 69 convertible. Not the best picture, but it might help.

    convertible top mechanism - service

Getting around to posting some updates for the new cylinder replacement I did in the summer. The parts from www.hydroe.com were superb copies of the old cylinders, with no fitment issues. I took everything outside the car (pump, lines, cylinders) and did replace them on the ground to avoid...

What did you do to your C-body today....

With the winter coming I took a chance a few weeks back and made a final run before storage. Gave Polara a wash, put in fresh 93 US octane gas (7 USD/gallon), and removed a battery. It's like 7-8 years since my last visit to the states, so just wondering if there show up a new technology in...

    C-bodies in France.

Hi, apologize for the late response. It's a way more complicated process requiring a physical presence of the car passing the technical inspection and the car must be in very good condition in order to acquire historical plates/documents. You must be also a member of the historical club. It...

1970 Fury, Evidence of Fender Bender

It's pity you got a lemon. I seem to have no issues so far, it took just 35grams per wheel to perfectly balance it. Just one rear wheel, took way more, like 100grams. But being in the back, it's no big issue. I had a similar weight around 100 grams back on the wheels with BFgs, too. I have...
