part identification

Hello everyone, I found this part lying on the floor in the garage, wondering from where it fall down (69 Polara convertible). The size is approx 2 inches time 1/2 inch with the center bolt. Maybe you can help? Worth asking, thank you.

Take a look at the trans mount where it bolts into the tailshaft housing.

This pic is from an E or B body, but it was the best I could find to show the bolts.

cutted = sheared off thats what I though but were missing the correct word

Now that I think about it 2” X 1/2” is a much bigger part than the one I was thinking of…
