I know this is an old post but... Would you happen to have any pictures of both parts of the filler neck assembly? I am restoring a '65 sport fury and am not having much luck finding the filler neck.

Unfortunately mine does, previous owner used a cutoff wheel and cut a 3"x 3" hole in it.

The problem is someone put a different tank on the car and cut a hole in the back bumper to run the filler neck through. So I'll have to take the license plate off to put gas in. I found a used tank off of another 65 sport fury but the pipe that comes up through the quarter to the fuel door...

I went and looked over the drawing again and the straps are running the wrong way. You're correct, the drawing is inaccurate. Now back to square one.
