Also had cataract surgery on my right eye about 3 weeks ago and will have the left eye done in April. Its been a busy time.
Here is a long overdue update on Virgils, (61 Fury convertible), restoration.
Most is unseen detail but body will finally be completed by the end of the month, Everything is painted but the hood at this point.

This is a example of a original OEM seat belt including NOS mounting hardware. The correct belt material is called (7 panel). Look close at it.
The webbing material is usually available on ebay in many colors although all originals were a tan/brown color.
Most trimmers won't stitch new sebbing...
Belts for your 57 were only available through the factory accessory book over the counter. Placement is where ever is comfortable for you.
Originals had a bolt with a loop in the floor with a large washer on the underside. The belt attached with a forged clip.
I need one 1969 Chrysler 300 tail light lens. used with minor cracks OK. right and left are the same I think.
It's for a wall hanger assembly so cheap is good....
