1970 Plymouth Sport Fury V10 Swap Build Thread

I'm glad to hear you say that. So many people talk about the V-10 ram engine being a dog. I have never driven one so I have no idea. $2500 for a 500hp V-10 is great! Interesting idea to compensate for low end torque with high gears. I had a 85 corvette with 350 tpi engine that is low end...

1970 Plymouth Sport Fury V10 Swap Build Thread

Awesome project! This was something I had thought about doing if I build a C-body since no one makes engine swap parts to put a modern engine in a C-body. I got discouraged with the idea when I found out the truck and viper engine have nothing in common so adding performance wouldn't be easy...

How to make a c-body "sporty"?

You're not wrong but for me the value is not there and I don't want something that small. I would like to point out that the Plymouth Sport Fury GT was part of Plymouth's Rapid Transit System (RTS) which is "more than just a big engine, wide tires, and a straight line".

How to make a c-body "sporty"?

I appreciate that. Holly cow, c-bodies are so a lot harder to find than I would have that. At any point in time you can find loads of "RARE" chargers, road runners, challengers, etc... but a simple "boring" c-body is no where to be found. I will be watching the for sale forum very closely.

How to make a c-body "sporty"?

I assure you guys that whatever I do will be in good taste. It will look like a stock car, no excessive lowering or 22 inch wheels. I want a luxury ride without the excessive body roll, and old car sloppy steering. I was looking into firm feel, I have heard a lot about them. A gen 3 Hemi because...

How to make a c-body "sporty"?

I'm looking to modernized an older car. Subtle updates: drivetrain, suspension, etc to build myself a car I want to drive everyday. I'm quickly becoming a mopar or no car type of person. Haha, got two modern hemi vehicles at the house and I love them! The guys at the b body forum have pointed...

    Welcome, BowerPower62

I was over in the b-body forums doing research and someone mentioned that the c-body is a great value. So here I am for research into the c-body. The c-body combines some of my favorite things big American cars and mopars! I am going to start a thread in general discussion to layout what I have...
