    69 Monaco wont start

My Monaco is fixed and back on the road. New battery and cables, plus new smaller red wire from positive battery post to wherever it goes. I'm removing the positive cable off the battery when not using the car. Thanks to all. Carl

    69 Monaco wont start

As always, everyone's counsel is topnotch! And, much appreciated. I must digest the replies and will update as warranted. In the meantime, I watched an entertaining movie called Hot Rod 1979 on YouTube. Perhaps you might enjoy as well. It's free and

    69 Monaco wont start

Good morning! I've had a situation with my Monaco where I've had to jump start it either by using jumper cables and a vehicle that I can jump from or using small jump start battery boxes. Typically, the car starts with no problem. I've been starting the car like this for a long time. I've had...

Thank you. It is as you say. I had the wrong terminology for the part. It's the idler arm. Thank you again.

Greetings everyone. Where can l find a replacement steering stabilizer for a 69 Dodge Monaco 4 door sedan or a replacement bushing if replacing that part alone is possible? Thanks. Carl

Cuda Hunter, this part of Colorado is rich in many things, as you indicate. I know the location you reference but not the people. Thanks for sharing.

    BEST RADIATOR OPTION

For what it's worth, I just had a Spectre Performance radiator, OEM, which is made of brass and copper installed in my 1969 Dodge Monaco. It had a 3 core aluminum in it for years until I shredded it with a fan blade digging into it and causing my need for the replacement. I paid 170 bucks for...

Pertronix - if I can do this, so can you!

Since installing the Pertronix unit a couple of weeks ago in my 1969 Dodge Monaco, I've been satisfied with how the car fires up and idles and have no complaints on that system. I was not able to have the cars timing checked by someone who knows what they're doing, but I did rotate the...

Pertronix - if I can do this, so can you!

Over the last number of months I have read both sides of the argument for installing one of the Pertronix products and getting rid of the old points and condenser arrangement. My skill level with anything mechanical is just above zero. Yet, I took the risk of buying the product 1381A and the...
