Sarasota Sand and Orlando Ivory are the only 2 "white" colors for Plymouth in '55. But I don't see that combo as being an option. And I am pretty sure a small city like this wouldn't have done a special order. It could be...
So if it is the same car, an just the trim is different, for argument sake I could delete the Belvedere ttim and replace it with the Savoy trim? Problem with that is I assume the trim hah holes trhough the sheet metal holding it on so it would involve. filling and drilling new holes....but...
Aside for the chrome and dual paint. Are there any other differences in the Savoy model and the Belvedere for 1955? Reason I ask is I found a 55 Belvedere local, Would I be able to "restore" this to look like a Savoy by adding the chrome strip from a Savoy???
Our service probably did not get the "Police package" I have found VIN numbers from some in the 70's and they were not "Police package" vehicles that they ran.
Thanks everyone.
That is awesome! I wonder what colour combo it was. I haven't seen a beige or cream on white in any photos but that makes the most sense for a police car in the day
I know there is not a lot to go on. But it is the only pic I have so far. The officer on the far right in the photo is Cal BYAM, He was sadly killed on duty in 1964. I am trying to ID this car.

Hoping...

These are the VINS. I have copies of our Police services old insurance documents. It doesn't surprise me that the service back then may have just bought base model cars.
This is in Canada if that makes any difference as to what we would have bought back then too
