    It's -Fn cold out here

Here in Kansas the windchill has been in the negative teens and got down to the negative twenties. Lots of snow, too. Thankfully I can walk to work because my hood is frozen shut and my battery is dead. British sports cars are not made for this...

What should I do with my '69 Fury III?

Thank you all for your advice! Selling it was what I was expecting to hear, and I think I already knew that it made the most sense. I just hate to see this car turned into a derby car or parted out, when it was a good car in decent condition before I crashed it. @Boydsdodge I slid off the road...

What should I do with my '69 Fury III?

Hey guys, long time. As ya'll may know, I'm a fairly new (and inactive) member here. Here's my introduction. New Member! 1969 Plymouth Fury 3 I have a 1969 Plymouth Fury III auto 318 that I drove daily for a couple months. It was a good car, didn't let me down. I got into a minor accident that...

Steering center link and exhaust Y-pipe

I'm afraid I don't fully understand the question. The bending is only on the front of the driver side leaf spring. The axle is rolled slightly forward so the spring can go into the trunk. The passenger leaf spring appears to be unaffected. Does that answer your question?

    69 Fury Convertible seat belts

My 1969 Fury III 4-door hardtop has the shoulder belts hanging from the ceiling, so not sure they would be very usable when the top is down lol

Steering center link and exhaust Y-pipe

Here's an update, since it's been a while, for those interested. Got around to bringing the car home last week. I should be able to work on it much more effectively here. To do that, I got some new exhaust parts on the manifold, I was able to special order the clamps and tapered ends. I clamped...

    70 fury engine pics?

I don't know how relevant this will be since it's a 318 with one snorkel in a '69 Fury III, but it is totally stock. Anyway, if you look right under the oil fill cap on the valve cover (one of a few spots that still has the paint) you can see that it is indeed, turquoise. The air filter on mine...

Have a priest bless my car?

You should definitely keep it. A good conversation piece and a fun story. Besides, when a doll is bound to an object like that, who knows what you might unleash by disturbing it haha!

I got some pictures of my engine and a close up of the tag. It looks like G11 is the paint code from what you're telling me.

Okay! cool, I'll get a picture tomorrow. Just out of curiosity, what engine is that?

Problem indeed. Thanks for the pictures. I'll get it out and try to straighten it; my work has a hydraulic press I might be able to use.

That's too bad. The passenger side of cars is just bad luck I guess, the front door handle there is the only one that doesn't work on mine :( Thankfully, I think it was all body damage (besides the exhaust and center link). The subframe looks okay from what I remember.

Thanks; it looks more green to me, like metallic olive or something (again, not a great picture), but I will check next time I work on it. Is that on the tag that's right inside the door?

For the curious, here is a picture of the damaged side
