I so sympathize. I struggled through these kinds of things for the first three years I owned my car. It's finally settling down as the gremlins one by one are exited. Keep at it!

I would, had a similar issue on a 74 Imperial and that fixed the problem. Obviously electrical, whatever it is.

I've used Starton (blue also) for years. Not sure if it works. Cheap enough insurance. Cant get ethanol free by me. I buy it at H-Depot.

Its a sin these parts are not available or easily sourced. If we were talking Corvettes you could choose from a half a dozen vendors or more. Damn.

Not my 66 but a mirror image of my 66 which was my fist car. 383, A/C, lots of room lol.

Great car. My grandfathers car, similar, had the same pattern. Only other time I have seen it is here now. Congrats on the car. Gotta love that Chrysler green. I had a 71 300 in that color combo.

Great car, I suspect an electrical issue. Could be firewall related/wiring harness. Had a similar problem with my 66 300, was the wiring harness. When it got hot enough I lost spark.
