WANTED 1971 Town & Country Rear AC switch Toggle

Looking for a unicorn here. I'm trying to find the plastic toggle that slides on the rear AC switch lever. It's black with white letters that says "Rear AC" and i think it might have a set screw on it. It looks like the toggle for the rear window switch for the 69 model wagons. I couldn't...

    Dash Lights

Hello Neighbor, nice to see another c-body member on OK. I ordered a new NOS light switch. Wish I had known you could rebuild these, I would have gone that direction. Thanks for the tip on B2. I will definitely check that.

    Dash Lights

Completed the dashectomy to get to the headlight switch. I'm guessing that all the crumbly bits are the reason I have no dash lights... Any recommendations on other things to do while i have this apart? Will go ahead and change all the bulbs back there. Hoping all this works when it gets...

    Tailgate Wood Grain

    Tailgate Wood Grain

well it was $200 for a 7x4 foot roll but i think a 20 foot roll would cover both sides. i bet $450-$600 for the materials. The hard part is keeping the grain pattern consistent which may lead to a lot of material waste.

    Tailgate Wood Grain

I used the 3M eraser wheel. It wasn't the fastest process but it got the job done. Plus the tailgate had deteriorated much faster than the rest of the car so it was already pretty dry and brittle.

    Tailgate Wood Grain

Well the good news is i finally got the tailgate re-grained. I bought the 3M dinoc Dark Tamo and it matches really well. Bad news is i had to buy a 7X4 foot roll minimum so i have enough for 3 more.....

thanks, I saw those on ebay but was hoping I might find some better examples. I actually don't have a 300. I saw in the 70-71 parts catalog the body diagram for the Town & Country has these caps. Really like that look. Here's my car.

Parts that you can make work

This bump stop works perfect for the lower glass bumper in the wagon tailgates. The retaining point fits the perfect in the tailgate slots. At least it did in my 1971...

    WANTED trim clips

Of course. They are just push in trim fasteners. I took a piece of the trim with me to test fit. The heads are just the right diameter to hold in the rail.

    WANTED trim clips

Well after realizing those are likely unobtainium i went to the local hardware store. They had dome push type fasteners, almost the smallest size, that work well. Thanks to all for the response.
