For a 67 Newport sedan the widest you can go on the rear is 15x8x4.5 offset with 275x60 15's they will rub a little on the skirt flange on odd angle entries into driveways. The cure is to roll the body side of the skirt lip about a 1/4 inch in and 2-3 inch long where the light rubmark is. then...
i dont have pics yet......but doess ANYONE have steelies 15x8x4.5 bacspace on a skirted 65,66,67 ??? or are 7's the widest with4.5 space....im desiring a deeper look on the rear...
thanks. ive seen this one. But the gears i have are a plastic gear fused to a solid rubber thick disk with the small gear fused to the rubber via a large metal washer. are the multi puck versions a replacement fit??
Does anyone know where to get power window gears for a 67 Newport sedan. Are there differnces in right and left motors front/rear assemblies? The rubber cushions are shot and all i see are 3 puck systems... do they fit?
67 newport custom sedan.nice california car first sold in pasadena. 84k on the odometer all original except the engine bored to a 423 with a weiand single plane hi rise ,edelbrock 750, headwork etc..white with a turquoise int. set up for cross country high speed. ive had it for a month now...
thats the look i was thinking..my ride is set up with 15x6s and 235/70s on unknown steelies and unk back spacing...the cars in the shop right now getting the suspension refreshed so i'll check later. thanks turboomni
I'm new with a 67 Newport Custom Sedan and looking at rim size and tires. I like the 300 look with the torque thrusts, but what is the tire size? The 65 convertable I meant to refer to....
