    Have not checked mileage yet, Speedo took a crap on me. Also I'm pretty heavy footed, I like to hear her sing! They say you can gain around 5mpg. My carb was running way rich so I know mine has improved just dont know how much.

    Starting is better too, but I had a lot of issues with the original starter and points. New igintion and high torque starter solved a lot of my start problems. You can set the idle where you want with the fitech controller.

    In just the efi, I think fitech complete kit was $900. Then new intake, so $1,100. It's a bit off a job but you can do it in a day. Be very careful where you mount the fuel pump because it will vapor lock. Top end and throttle response are leaps above the old 2 barrel carb. Transmission...

    The guy I bought it from said newport rose was the color. He had a gallon of paint to go with it. Don't know if that is the original color or not. The pad as well as door panels look like they were sprayed at some point with vinyl paint.

    We have been driving it some, I have spent some time upgrading a few mechanical items. She likes, she's hoping I get painted by summer, but customers cars come first! She is an awesome women, dont take much to please her!
