    vapor lock

I agree that vapor forming in the suction side of the pump itself will cause a problem because the overriding fact is that the pump can't move it on. Other than that addition I stand by my explanation.

    vapor lock

I will attempt to correct misconceptions about "vapor lock". If liquid fuel is getting to the pump and it is capable of pumping the liquid, then "vapor lock" cannot occur. Vapor lock only occurs when there is "vapor" in the suction line from the tank. The pump cannot pump vapor! Therefore, it...

Detailing Engine Mopar Turquoise - Specifically

My explanation didn't come out quite right. It is not necessary to have a 300 to be a member of The Chrysler 300 Club Int. but only 300's can be discussed on the list server. Hope that is more clear.

Detailing Engine Mopar Turquoise - Specifically

I have been a member of the 300 club for about 30 years. Great group of people with a vast amount of knowledge and willing to help. All are welcome to be members but only 300's are allowed and spoken of.

    Recasting steering wheel options

The translucent portion of those wheels was crystal clear when they were new so you could see the chromed metal ring inside. Some had gold metal flake imbedded in the clear portion. They are awesome when done properly.

    Center plane brakes, ‘61 Plymouth

You can and should use denatured alcohol to flush the brake system. Repeatedly fill the master and bleed one wheel at a time using the time tested method. I would use at least 1/2 gallon.

    RECHROMING

Does anyone know of a place that does small jobs of anodizing aluminum hopefully in south Florida? Many places will only do large jobs.

1964 Dodge 880 shakes/wobble at low speeds and first gear (0-30 mph) and when car attemps to stop. Smooth at high speeds

If you have Radial tires and the sensation is a wobble rather the a vibration, then a belt of one or more of the tires has come loose and is starting to come off. As the condition worsens it will be evident at all speeds. If the wobble is at the rear, lift both rear wheels off the ground, with...

1970 300-H Does anyone have some pictures of how this is supposed to look like???

Just for clarification, the only H was in 1962. What you have is a 300 Hurst. Interesting cars but not a LETTER.

Bend torsionbar , problem or not?

Broken Torsion Bars are great for chopping holes through ice for fishing. Torsion bars twist, not bend. Any longitudinal bend is better known as a break. It was not straight from manufacture. Of no consequence.

New Muffler Sound Laws and Enforcement

Sorry guys. I am with the ban on the noise. I do live in the country on a nicely paved road. I get to listen to bikes and all loud exhaust coming and going for miles particularly on weekends. Those people are traveling to resorts 30 to 100 miles beyond where I live. For those that live in the...

    1963-1964 "Short Ram" Intake Manifolds

Those pieces are not really spacers, they are intended to block off the Heat Riser ports in the heads. The reproduction pieces are made long to be hacksaw trimmed to fit your manifolds. It is possible that those ports may become too hot for plastic block off plates. Long rams had exhaust heat...
