well unless u r going to race it stay wih the high flow manifolds & Headers cook BB starters & the new 318 ones will leave u setting . know if happen to me i went back to the stock one & NO MORE problems now from the old dc rcng book they said a 318/340/360 sb starter from the 1980's...
what kind of ac compressor r u going to use with the 134a? i how not the RV2? WITH OUT A POA 134 Valve( they dont mak one now !) IT WILL NOT work RIGHT u can switch it over tp a rotary style but its a differant belt set up . i know i fought that wih my 72 440 new yorker
how bad is the block worn? dose it need to be bored 0.030 over? has a shop checked it ? is it out of round? or has a bad tpper ? lots of things that need to be done before u bore it? just saying
u cant buy a new one u can get a ellembrock but unles u have the same carb on the car now the transmition dowmn shift will np b rght & IT may not shift right try they do great work
