well I got it back together and as luck would have it I took it for a drive and warmed it up and it still leaks . What now ? I used a 440 source retainer but the orange rubber sides didn’t want to go in very well so I filled the grooves in with ultra gray sealer without the seals.I don’t know if...
Also I would like to add my tie rods didn’t want to come loose but I got the right side inner one out and was able to pull it down enough to get the pan off and I didn’t have to jack up the engine.
Thanks for the tip, I did check everywhere first . I finally got the seal out but I had my doubts the silicone sealer was holding it in so tight even with a hammer and punch it wouldn’t budge, I didn’t know what I was going to do and my wife asked if I tried heat ? I didn’t want to burn my car...

I have a problem and a question , my car was running pretty good but i think my crankcase ventilation was pulling too much blow by when I had it connected to the back of my manifold so I changed it to go to my carb instead, I’am not sure why but it seems to idle and run a lot better this way...
Thanks guys for all your advice, I think the metal fuel filter would be better I just like the looks of the glass but I don’t like it so close to the manifold.
