1969 Fury I turn signals were slowing down now dont work

I'm thinking the "heavy draw" was determined by the shop because the lights dimmed when the turn signals were activated. Wonder if that wasn't due to a low charge rate from the alternator? Now the lights not functioning because of further degradation of the power supply or bad ground not...

    NOT MINE 1976 NYB

Auto temp is rigged, and let's hope all that ( beautiful? ) crap on the exterior is stick on. The speedometer overlay looks like it will peel off.

    Frame repair. Fix or scrap

I'd like to see what you can do with that within derby rules. I know nothing about them.

    NOT MINE Lee Iacocca's Imperial

I think they were trying to emulate the Rolls Royce Phantom IV. The Cadillac was more successful than Chrysler in that regard.

    NOT MINE 72 Polara 3K

Depends. New York didn't title vehicles until '73. None required before then.

    NOT MINE Lee Iacocca's Imperial

It's too bad that Chrysler had to take what was so obviously a Cordoba, hang what I think is a pretty front end, and an ugly back end on it, and declare it to be an Imperial. It was a nice Chrysler, but should not have resurrected the Imperial name, IMHO. There was a whole lot of that in the...

NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler Newport convertible in South Dakota (blue now beige)

    NOT MINE 72 Polara 3K

I wonder why they didn't take a little soap and water to the interior before the pics. Woulda made 1000% improvement with no cost.

Your thoughts on paint color change 1966 Imperial convertible

I absolutely love a black car. Someone else's. Nothing looks better when it is shiny and new, but it is the hardest to keep looking great. Been there, done that. Won't do it again. Shows every speck of dirt, every swirl, every ding. Car ends up owning your life to maintain appearance.

I want to upgrade the radio

@Justin Plant That's the way to do it! I hate seeing a classic with a flashy, glowy radio in it.

Proper Vinyl Top Replacement Advice Needed - 1973 Newport Custom

I 'd not put fluid film in the trunk, it will get on any luggage, etc you use. Don't want to ruin her outfits! Paint would be better in that case.

1977 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham 2dr

The green one was waiting for the new top material to come in, but was sold before that happened. If you didn't replace the top, you would have to remove the window plug; I don't know what that would involve. One thing you can do to make it yours is to hook up the rear Windows to open. The...

    Tire pressure?

Avocado oil. It has the highest smoke point, so you would be less likely to see smoke rising from the engine when the valve covers leak. That is, of course, unless it leaks directly on the exhaust manifold; then all bets are off.

    Tire pressure?

Your car was born with bias ply tires. You are now running radial ply tires, so you cannot use the factory air pressure recommendation. Bias ply tires have a stiffer sidewall than the radials do. You need more pressure to provide the support that the stiffer sidewalls provided back then. The...

    NOT MINE 69 Monaco Wagon

I put an aftermarket set on my old Reliant. I suppose they could have been a dealer installed option. Summit does list stainless ventshades on their site, for special order, so someone does still make them.
