Oh, forgot to mention that I used a hydraulic clutch setup to make the job far simpler!
My clutch is a McLeod Racing StreetPro 75109, and the pedal feel is perfect. Really easy.
I've done this conversion on a '68 Chrysler 300 with a 440 TNT and LOVE it! Here's the basics:
-A833 OD from a 2 WD truck. Crossmember same for auto and manual trans. Same with driveshaft.
-Lucked into 2 sets of pedals in a junkyard in Wyoming. One set for manual brakes and the other for power...
Today I cut the '65 Sport Fury console mounts off so that I could get rid of the floor pan. There are 3 mounts and a section of the wiring. They're free to a good home, but shipping to anywhere in the US is $15.50 in a flat rate priority box.
I have the center floor section from a '65 Sport Fury. I used the 4 speed tranny hump in another project and it still has the console mounts and console wiring if someone needs them. Can send floor section or cut off the mounts. You can have 'em for the cost of postage.

I have a '71 Sport Fury hood with the hood blinkers (also fit 1970), the grille with hideaway headlights and motor, plus two rear bumpers with tail lights to sell.
$800.
Located in Helena, Montana, close to the junction of I-15 and I-90.
I have both '70 and '71 Fury hideaway headlight setups if anyone is interested. Both have the motors. I also have a Sport Fury hood with the integral blinkers.
All: I appreciate the interest that this car has generated. As of today it has been sold and is now residing in the garage of its new owner approximately 4 miles from my house! He intends to get it running, and perhaps doing the necessary body repairs. Hopefully I'll see it cruising around the...
I did attempt to turn the engine over with a breaker bar and socket on the crank bolt, but couldn't reach it from the top. I'll need to jack the car up and try it from underneath. I won't be able to do that or check the frame/floors as requested, until late March. I'm working out of town for the...
I've had a number of people contact me about selling the '71 Chrysler 300, so I'll post pics here for the tire kickers who just want to collect pictures. As described, the car is quite rough, but is loaded with options. Asking price is $1750. It's located in Helena, Montana.
