Assistance, please, in diagnosing charging system.

I just use a cheap Fluke meter. I test output at the alternator first. If it reads 14V or above, it's OK. Then check the battery. If it's 14 or so, the connection is good then it's the battery. If the battery connection shows low voltage, it's a bad connection. FWIW, I have electronic ignition...

    440 heads

Ok, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads. Talked to Vic Edelbrock Jr. and told me that all of their Performer RPM series will shift at 6500 all day. I shift mine at 6 grand with zero valve float. It's all about the total combination. Cheers

But I won't be able to do anything about the outer casing yet. I watched the guy...

1968 Plymouth Fury III - Accelerator cable and heater core

I bought one from year one that said it fit A bodies but would work on a BB C body. Well, 1 3/4" too long! Took it to County Cycles in Pinellas Park and they shortened it. Works great!! I'm waiting on another new one from Ottawa, if it fits, I'll let you know. The length I believe is 20". Cheers.

Hi Scott. 3:23 in the rear with an Auburn posi. Gear Vendors overdrive cuts it back to a 2:52. 70 MPH is about 2 grand, so 18-20 MPG IF I keep my foot out of it. 0-60=3.6 secs. 1/4=12.8 @ 116, and the top end is a mathematical number around 200. Cheers

A fellow named Dale Armstrong from Edmonton, Alberta was the mentor for Patricks build before I bought it in Alix, Alberta. Pat is a son of one of my now deceased old submariner friends. Dale said it would mate, but then had to box the frame. I have some pics of it, but can't put them up. I...
