    1971 Dealer demo. Wowsa!

The AM radio in my '65 New Yorker works exactly as it would have in 1965. I never turn it on, because the only thing on AM radio plays these days is conservative talk radio or mariachi music, neither of which I can stand to listen to.

1968 Chrysler 300, new to the forum.

Welcome to the site! Here's my '67 Newport Custom, 383 2bbl. I bought it out of Columbus, OH 6 years ago, as you see it, for $1250. I put another 6-7K into it. The site has been an invaluable resource for me and the Newport and my '65 New Yorker.

    Dash smoke

Thanks to everyone who responded to my post. I loved the "Mopar replacement smoke" post, that was hilarious. None of the electrical functions on the car are disabled; all lights, fan, wipers etc. work just fine. As I looked under the dash with bright light and mirror, I could not see any...

    Dash smoke

Hello fellas (and fell-ettes) from sunny warm Tampa. Yesterday I was driving the '67 Newport Custom, when I noticed an odd smell. I stopped and had breakfast, and took off again. The smell came back, and I glanced down to see smoke coming from under the dashboard. I pulled off the road but the...

Would you guys be concerned about this?

That undercarriage would be considered pristine by Ohio standards!

66 New Yorker 440 - what do you hear?

It's always seems to me that the sounds engines make are always distorted in videos. Someone will start and engine and comment on how good it sounds, but in the video it sounds like your NYer.

    67 Chrysler Newport muscle look

Post again when you get the car out of the field, washed, and have the opportunity to see how bad the underside actually is. Don't get ahead of yourself.

    1967 Chrysler newport

Sometimes sentimentality leads us down the wrong path. Personally, I wouldn't touch this car with a 10-foot pole.

    New Yorker - 65 vs 66

I truly love my 65 New Yorker 6-window town sedan, the 413 is excellent. But I am sure that the 66 has the same feel and power, so it's a tossup. In your case, since the 65 is the coupe, I'd choose that car. Cheers!

    New interior

I'm late seeing this thread, but yes that is a very nice job of making/installing the new seatcovers. Nice materials selection as well! I'm having my '65 NYer seats redone soon, using some NOS Chrysler fabric I bought from a guy on ETSY. SMS wanted an arm and leg for the factory material, and...
