Hi everyone. Just sort of thinking out loud, do the hood and fenders etc. from one 70ish C Body fit between models? Example, if you had a New Yorker and wanted to put an Imperial front end on it, would it bolt right up?

That front clip piece would make a cool desk.

I may be dense, but why wouldn't this be available on a 4 door? Would make more sense to me. Why would you cram men in suits with briefcases into the back of a 2 door?

I ran across a paint chip website that listed 1968 Chrysler "All." It listed Dark Blue Poly EE-1. So that must be it, it was the darkest blue. Thanks everyone for weighing in.

It's also left hand drive. I have seen several times when in Australia a beautiful maroon 62 convertible that is RHD. I thought, that would have been an expensive conversion. Nope, read later that Imperials were built in Australia. Don't know the particulars, but that was an original AU car.

I had heard that Imperials weren't allowed as derby cars because you couldn't kill them and they always won. Guess not.

I knew the Crown Imperial was a limo in the 60s but didn't know if that went back to the 50s. I for sure don't have a limo. My car is a post model so it isn't a Newport or a Southampton. So far I haven't found an actual name for it. The tag office ought to love that.
