    C Body front sheet metal

Hi everyone. Just sort of thinking out loud, do the hood and fenders etc. from one 70ish C Body fit between models? Example, if you had a New Yorker and wanted to put an Imperial front end on it, would it bolt right up?

That front clip piece would make a cool desk.

1967-68 Imperial by Chrysler "Mobile Director"

I may be dense, but why wouldn't this be available on a 4 door? Would make more sense to me. Why would you cram men in suits with briefcases into the back of a 2 door?

    Military Blue

I ran across a paint chip website that listed 1968 Chrysler "All." It listed Dark Blue Poly EE-1. So that must be it, it was the darkest blue. Thanks everyone for weighing in.

    Military Blue

Thanks guys. I had a new Camaro in 2010 that was Imperial Blue. Very pretty. I just thought it would be nice to have a Valiant painted an Imperial color. Yes I know it's just a formula that anyone could have used. I've got another Valiant I'd paint an Imperial color but that's for another...

    Military Blue

Hi everyone. Does anyone have a picture of a 1968 Imperial in Military Blue? This was the only dark blue in the color chips I was looking at. It doesn't look all that dark, I thought maybe it looked darker on a car. I'm looking for a dark, metallic blue to paint a Valiant, and how cool would...

    1957 Imperial

It's also left hand drive. I have seen several times when in Australia a beautiful maroon 62 convertible that is RHD. I thought, that would have been an expensive conversion. Nope, read later that Imperials were built in Australia. Don't know the particulars, but that was an original AU car.

    Mind blown…

I had heard that Imperials weren't allowed as derby cars because you couldn't kill them and they always won. Guess not.

    1962 Imperial Patch Panels

Thanks for this. I checked him out he seems like quite an operation. Murry was the guy I was trying to think of. He doesn't seem to have what I'm looking for at the current time.

    1962 Imperial Patch Panels

Good morning everyone. I'm in need of typical lower patches for my 62 LeBaron. I know 60-63 will work, not having luck finding this in something that can be cut up. Are there any other cars that would work? New Yorker maybe? A DeSoto or a Dodge or ?? I used to have a link for someone who...

    WANTED Imperial Door Latch

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a left front door latch for a 56 Imperial. This is the part attached to the door with the star wheel. The car is a 4 door so I'm guessing all four are different. Mine has started the dreaded only latching at the first detent. Thanks everyone.

    Imperial model name

Thanks for that link. Quite a lot of information I'm sure I'll be referring to again. According to what I read, I have a C73 Custom Imperial with a 133" wheelbase. So what I think I'll do, is ask them to leave the model name blank. If they won't, I'll say it's a C73. The word "Chrysler"...

    Imperial model name

I knew the Crown Imperial was a limo in the 60s but didn't know if that went back to the 50s. I for sure don't have a limo. My car is a post model so it isn't a Newport or a Southampton. So far I haven't found an actual name for it. The tag office ought to love that.

    Imperial model name

Good morning everyone. I just bought a 1956 Imperial. Not sure it's actually a C Body but maybe someone will know. I know starting in 55 the Imperial was its own make. My car has the familiar crowns on it but nowhere does it have a model name. My punchcard only says Series C70. The front...

Moving an Imperial on a Uhaul trailer

I agree. Normally I would have told him to pound sand. But I was working from a position of extreme weakness. I was pressed for time, the seller was pressed to get the car out of his garage, and I was worried that the scam was that if I accepted his bid then told him to get lost, he'd create...

Moving an Imperial on a Uhaul trailer

It was in Connecticut. I really didn't want to use Uship because all I've ever seen from them was Billy Bob with his F150 and tow dolly. When I signed up I immediately got several quotes from trucking companies that were around 1300-1400. And then add-on Uship fees and the insurance which...

Moving an Imperial on a Uhaul trailer

Guess what everyone. The Imperial is at my place now, hauled down by a guy I found on Uship. He had a Ford F250(F350?) and a rather heavy duty 22' trailer. Cost me 1000 bucks, I didn't have to do any of the driving, and everything went well. So thanks everyone for chiming in. I never...

Moving an Imperial on a Uhaul trailer

Nope. Not jerking anyone around. The purpose of this exercise was to cut out 15 hours of driving. I do indeed have a 2500 truck and a tilt trailer, and I do not want to tow it empty 15 hours only to turn right around and tow the car back another 15 hours. That trip sucks on a good day. By...
