I did the am meter bypass it was the cauae of my problem ....but found this burned out connector to the bulkhead...do i still to fix it, even if i did the bypass...sorry my ignorance but what does this wire do and should it be repaired ? I run an autometer volt gauge now.

ok !!! It worked i brought the car home....i did the bypass from the relay & alt but..i didnt put the new fuse link , and if i have too , were can i put it ?
