Ok guys ! Very weird situation here...car was in a photoshoot yesterday , ran super good , and after a couple of minutes of driving and stopping the engine for different angles, the car just refused to start when it was shot off , started with a click sound ( starter ) and slowly lost all power...no more lights , volt gauges goes up 1 time out of 2 , no cranking , no power with test light , no burn smell...it never happened to me before , even took a brand new battery from my truck and it didnt do anything ...so , no power / no lights / no cranking but a strong battery , relay ? Electrical gremlin , ..what could it be ! stock 1968 fury III 318 / 727

Bulkhead connector
Clean battery cable ends or posts, but you swapped battery
Bad battery cable (it happens)

Thats what im thinking now..the complete bulkhead connector ? To clean it ? And a bad battery cable wont make it charged properly right?

Either the fusible link at bulkhead popped or the ammeter guage took a ****.
Also double check connections at starter relay.
You can do the underhood ammeter bypass and replace the fusible link but run the wire trough the firewall bypassing the bulkhead.

Wish you were closer, hope this helps.

Thx bud...i never did such a thing, wonder how hard it could be

What does it do if you short across the starter relay? If it cranks properly you can rule out battery and cables. Then you know it is in the wiring from the battery to under dash.

ok !!! It worked i brought the car home....i did the bypass from the relay & alt but..i didnt put the new fuse link , and if i have too , were can i put it ?
