Yes Sears use to be the anchor mall store in bigger centers and small towns had order and pickup stores. Plus delivery in bigger centers well before Amazon!
This mug was a promotion when you bought a set of Cragars. Still use it to hold pens and markers.
Bought these from Sears in late 1970’s. Timing light and dwell get occasional use. Battery charger is still used alot. I used the 6 volt feature when I drove my 49 chevy back then.
Going through boxes when we were in deep freeze this week and waiting for spring, came across these. Folding 2 foot ruler and square. Both must predate plastic. Ruler is brass and wood and tight with no play.
Cleaning up shop and came across this radio delete plate. It was in a 71 plymouth fury . Numbers on back only reference to a 68-72 nova and corvette. The bracket joining them looks factory. Just found it odd if it was put on at the factory
add about 4 quarts. Lift back wheels off ground. Start engine, add another 2 quarts. Once warm , foot on brake, go through gears. Once you know that park etc all lines up , let back on ground, check for leaks then add until good on dipstick.
Adding to an old thread.
Spring is a few weeks away so getting a few things done one of which is the worm shaft seal.
I used Rick S procedure with a few mods.
First marked the column/ coupler to make sure its goes back the same.
I also took off the inner fender, gave me way more work area.
