Sorry it took me so long to get back to any of the responses, I was out camping for the long weekend. I've read that that is the case, but some websites listed it as LA only and not poly, where as others said both, always good to double check. little or no spark. I didn't check the actual...

Is the timing cover supposed to be difficult to install?

Is reinstalling the timing cover supposed to be a huge pain, it come off super easy, but installing it with the oil pan in place makes it a huge pain to get both dowels lined up. Me just being idiot is also a possibilty, but I'm pretty sure its the car :P

1966 polara poly 318 rear main question

I was planing on using the rubber one if it was an either or situation. ugg, I have been spoiled working on late 80's jeeps and corollas. Thankfully I have an engine hoist, and if I had a stand I'd be tempted to just pull the whole engine as the heads and valve covers seem to be the only 2...

1966 polara poly 318 rear main question

I'm in the process of resealing my engine and trans, some of the seal came with the car, some I had to get myself. I'm getting ready to do the rear main and the oil pan, both of these came with the car, I though the 2 piece rubber was a replacement for the rope style but both of these were in...
