I am having a real hard time posting this. I really wish this car could be saved.

Parting out 1972 Chrysler imperial, Arizona car. Selling all parts not needed for demolition derby. Motor/trans complete but no idea if it turns over, rats chewed wiring.

I asked if there are blue parts.
Derby huh? That's unfortunate.
Those bumpers look great!
All the trim looks great!
Arizona car in Ontario. No rust car up in the northern rust belt.

If the seller won't ship a few blue interior parts is there anyone who would do so? Have to ask.
Last car in Canada that had blue parts was next to impossible to get anything sent down here.

He is willing to talk.
There are a few pieces I need but last guy in Canada didn't want to ship down here.
Anyone up there willing?
Not sure if he will ship to me yet.
@Boydsdodge Maybe if I can get him to sell me he one piece it would get you in the door to go talk him out of demolishing the car and selling to you?

There are a ton of awesome looking parts on this car if it is to truly be smashed.

I am going to have a look. Just in middle of a job. I will call today. Real shame an Imperial gets shipped to Canada to be a demo. It may have been smuggled in and have no papers. I will see.

Good, good.
I'm glad someone will at least look at it before it's rust dust.
If he is selling only parts, I need the under column vent knob holder thing and the drivers A pillar.

So after lengthy crappy weather and trying to coordinate work, I was able to go have a look at the Imperial. What a shame that it is a very solid rust free car. Vinyl peeling around lower rear window, but no bubbles. Non running, some wire issues from sitting so long and wild life getting into the car. If one had another for parts it would be fairly easy with time and skill. It can be bought, the owner said it was brought into Canada under scrap or parts import, not a very talkative man, I will leave it at that.
The owner loves to demo these cars, thats what gets him talking, telling you about great cars it demos. Rust free Imperials, New Yorkers etc. So if you were to take the car back to the US, it should be a straight forward event, just gotta get here and haul it home. The owner brings the cars up from New Mexico, Arizona.
The other car is a very very nice well taken care of Formal New Yorker Brougham, runs like a top he tells me, previous owners baby.

Photos continued. I good paint correction and new top is all I would do to the exterior, and it would be very presentable. Interior, Engine and what you find with electrical is the cons to the car.
I thought I would post here first in the hopes someone needs a good complete Imperial or New Yorker before they meet their demise. If it does not sell, I am going to go and pick spare parts at the end of April.

Man that hurts to read! Getting nice, rust-free cars from down south just to smash up here? Ugh... I wish demolition derbies would be banned :(.

BTW I don't think I've ever seen a formal-era New Yorker without fender skirts!

The interiors on both of them look fantastic.

You can tell by the "CAT" sticker in the back window of the formal that it was an old person's car, likely got too old to drive or passed on, just to have his pride and joy to be sent to hell. Very frustrating.

I though the 78's did not automatically come with fender skirts. Is that right or wrong?

Anyone ever buy this thing?
Still need a few blue parts......
