Hoist has landed in the garage.
Boab will have to sit outside till we put it together this weekend.
Grace will sit outside as well during assembly.

I drove the Imperial home from my friends' shop today from a planned rear axle refresh, and an unplanned driveshaft rebuild!

I am in Canada so I got a 9000lb parking hoist from Capital Automotive Equipment.
Similar to Wildfire hoists.
With casters,jack tray and 3 drip trays 110v motor plug right into the wall.
It was cheap but took 2 months to get it.

I enjoyed the assembly process. Very straight forward and the video was better than the printed instructions

putting a set of Cal Custom vintage valve covers on. I imagine they'll leak .I didn't use any sealant.

Thanks to the help of Mark (or @65CopCar), the turquoise 67 Fury 520 stroker got out today to see if we can finally fix all of our problems once and for all… and I am happy to report, I think we might have found the problem… and it is what you may not expect either, and that is the spark plugs. The ceramic is too big it is a 14 and what is causing the engine to “diesel”, so we need smaller 10 or 12 plugs. More to come in my post….

While the hoist was tbe big piece of the puzzle, the garage is not done yet! Now it is time to really organize and decorate!

Went for the last ride of the year yesterday and hauled home a nice buck. Didn't hit the deer, the old Remington 760 took care of it.
