Made progress this afternoon cleaning her out. Had boxes full of old newspapers from late 1981-1982. That and the last sticker on the license plate being 1982 leads me to believe that was when it was last driven and converted to a dumpster. Anybody know if these cloth inserts are factory?

Probably because he works nights at the impound yard that the car was at. He was actually a really cool guy. He helped me change all the tires and get it loaded on my trailer.

Found 2 cop car wheels and hub caps under all the crap in the back seat. I'm hoping I'll find the other 2 when I get in the trunk.

Those wheels weren't used until 1977 and those are Plymouth hub caps.

Got in to the trunk and found what I believe is the original 9.25 rear end that I'm told it should have come with instead of the 8.75 that's under it now.

Best of luck with the car… and the clean out, it looks like you got alot of cleaning ahead of you! It would be cool if you could find some history of what department it was in like a police report or some unfilled out tickets or something.
