Decent car, based on the pics. Rattle can restoration, missing visors, yellowed seats, probably cracked steering wheel, and things like the wrong air cleaner and that dumb 383 emblem don't do much for it.

At $44K, there better be two more '66 300s (in the same shape) that go with it.

Something is going on with the seller to say the cars are sold. I could see some naive Mecum Auction watching buyer paying way too much for the '66, but that would be a fluke... Two cars at insane prices? No way.

Might be a scam...

Both of these had Dana 60s, so that's SUPER rare.
Probably bought by B-body guys to be rearend donors.
