For sale is the last of 3 Mopars my family had (65 Coronet , 72 Dart). Its sad to say, but hard times fell and the car found itself in a carport. I came and picked it up in August 2016 and got it back up and running. Recently the brake system was gone through new cylinders x4 , 1 new hose on the front driver side , new master cylinder as well. This Fury was a daily driver from the 90's until at least 2014. Engine was rebuilt in 2002 has about 30k on the engine rebuild. Tranny shifts great. Car is almost ready to daily drive, after new brakes. Car has 2014 tags with some dmv issues pictures enclosed (this is why its selling so low). i am open to offers, but i'm not looking for trades...i have enough projects haha. I have no problem having the car shipped if the buyer arranges the company. Open to test drives after i do the brakes. I'm going to school so my days are very open. E-mail for number mchlwany@gmail.com.
**The DMV picture is if the car is registered in Murrieta CA 92652**

Does that DMV stuff mean it has not been registered and they are charging for every unregistered period (and include a penalty) up til you register it again?

That would be insane, even from a german point of view lol.

My parent's fell on hard times in 2014, when the brake cylinders / master cylinder and a brake hose on the front driver side failed. They parked it and neglected to re-register it. Unfortunately at the time i was active duty and could have paid for the fees, but they never asked and i found out these issues when there apartment complex forced them to move the car. I picked it up and now i'm in $$$$ for a truck and trailer and parts to fix the car. With a car that runs and drives, but cant be driven legally until its registered.

Brother in law just bought the house 2 days ago. Were shooting for July 2017. Hes stationed at North Island, CA so we can't leave until he retires.

If you have an address in Montana, Go register the car as a new resident. I did the same thing when I moved from Illinois to Indiana.

Best thing you could do is to F&d k Ca. out of their fees that is ridiculous to extort money from people because you did not fill out a form 3 years ago. The mob does this and goes to jail the state of CA does it it is documented and called fees. WTF.

I did consider that, but then i have to get it to Montana i also have to move a 1980 Ford F350. The amount of money is too much with a newborn expected in February

I agree! I cant even afford to transfer it into my name at this point. They send it to the franchise tax board, then they levy your bank account and take your tax return. California is ruthless.

Ok, given that then how do you deal with the people who drive their cars daily and just don't register the car. Half the cars running around Oakland seem to have expired tags. These folks fell on hard times and may not have known about using non-op but those driving their cars are just ignoring the law willfully.

My guess it was either $82 or $83 to register as that is what my four older cars run with the truck at $100 because it is a truck.

Well the first thing you do wrong is leave a plate on a car for life. If you don't register it the plate should die and make it a pain in the *** to get a new plate PA. does.
Next maybe the cops can stop the vehicle, remove the bad tag and impound the, car now charge the back registrations to get the car back or after time put it in the pick a part so the rest of the world can benefit. CA. has too many cars and they last too long for the average yahoo, so their own stupidity will force them to get another car. In the case of the fury in this thread it would just go in-op with time and if it was not being driven illegally no stripped for parts fate would happen to it.

Take it with you and register it in Montana. I have 3 cars FROM CA they have all sat long periods. I changed them right into a PA antique lifetime registration with no inspections or more importantly no brain dead 20 something taking my wheels off and jamming a giant pry bar into my suspension, chipping paint, bending edge flanges on control arms just to tell me it's safe to drive.

Are you moving there Soon? Zircon encrusted Tweezers?

Ha ha ha... I wonder how many other C-ppl's inhere, know what you mean.....

Lucky Lucky my 80 F350 is at 450$ a year 134$ if i non op.

The CA fees did not follow the car? Montana has a permanent license option for anything older than 11 years. I know i can fit the Fury on a u haul transport, but their trucks don't enjoy the ride haha.

Maybe after the truck is 50 years old but then again it is based on weight. Your 80 F350 weighs more than my 65 F100.

No, the fees do not follow to Montana.
