I really like that car.

If the description is good, it looks like you need to freshen up some mechanicals and install a new top and you'll be out having fun. Do some interior and paint work and it will be real nice.

I wonder how much it will bid up to and if the seller is a dreamer on the reserve. $2900 now.

Don't touch an original paint car.
IMHO, the "original paint" ship sailed on that car a long time ago.

Creases and dents in the right door, crease in the left quarter. Then there's this "repair" on the left quarter.

It might have a lot of original paint, but based on the pics, I'd be very skeptical of that claim. If there is enough original paint left to make salvaging it worth the effort, most would want to at least repair the damaged areas.

Always training my eye. Is this the lovely Bondo sculpturing talent that you are referring too?

This car is fully loaded. TNT engine, A/C and disc brakes too. I really like the original paint gold color. I predict a final sale price of around $15K. Maybe more, if the Europeans decide to bid.
Believe this car was on EBAY with 11,500 BIN then
lowered to 9500 BIN.

I hafta admit that due to network blocking here at work I can't see all the details and photos associated with this car; therefore, I didn't see the paint and body problems with it. All I could see was the few crappy pictures and the California plate. If its BIN price is really $9500, that has gotta be a good deal (after on an in-person inspection, of course).
