I have a 74 Monaco 360cid, AT, AC that needs a new radiator. I'm wondering if your unit will fit.

Upper tank is stamped "59538" and "3692946". Here are some pictures with the dimensions that seem like the most important. I can probably get a better drawing of the dimensions once I can grab a yardstick tomorrow.

Thanks,
Jason

What Jason is basically asking for is the small block radiator that was used in all 74-78 C-bodies.
That, and one for the big blocks, will cover 100% of the entire 74-78 C-body line.
Two radiators. One huge market.

great pics! Geez I wish everyone could do this! If I had this info for all models, we'd have every radiator available.

Do you have the original shroud? Can you lay it on top of the radiator where it should attach and take a couple of pics?

Let me have a better look and do some comparing and I'll get back to you guys tomorrow.

I have a shroud in good shape that I'm pretty sure is original. I'll get you the pictures you requested at some point tomorrow.

See:

The guide shows that stock number as a '74 application only. You may want to have your existing unit re-cored. 28" radiator, fits 318 and 360 with A/C. Note that this chart ends in '74, there are likely other applications in later years.

It's possible whoever made the chart decided to end it at 1974. It's very rare that a radiator is designed for a production vehicle for one year only. 1974-1978 makes more sense to me. Also, I did see several other 28" application in 1973 and 1974. So that's encouraging.

You could be right about the chart, but mopar started transitioning to smaller body styles in '76 so the run of that radiator could have been a short one.

C-bodies:
74-78 SB radiator
74-78 BB radiator

I dont care how many #'s anyone comes up with, two radiators covers them all.
Why are you having such a hard time with this?

I'm not, just like to have complete info.

I gave it to you.
