This ones been around the block before. I seen several ads for it and believe it's been picked up by a classic car dealer up in Vermont.

I think I've seen it spammed on CL as far down as DC recently.

"Drop in a 440"? Are you nuts???!!! D'you know how rare /6 cars are? And in THIS condition!? This car is a GEM as IS. I so wish I wasn't restoring a car right now or this would be mine!!

Not that it matters, but the 6 stub frame is not the same so to drop a 440 would require the stub to be replaced.

I agree a Slant 6 original car should stay that way. So unusual and rare. I would love a slant 6 car especially if it had 3 on the tree.

Needs at least a dash pad and door skin repair just from the pics. Adding a 440 would do nothing but detract from an interesting unique car as it is. If mine it would be attending shows and cruise nights and wouldn't be a DD.

PL41C0F244663 looks very nice, notwithstanding the somewhat sun-damaged dash. Keep her as is!

Too much stuff to change for the 440 anyways..not worth the hassle IMO. Yeh, keep that leaning tower of power in there and be happy with that.

Doesn't get much better than that! A true plain Jane, love it!

eh I see some faults. Seems to be a few more pictures than when it was first listed at the owners residence. I tired to find the first posting of this car here to compare photos but had no luck.

Look around the lower left of the trunk photo, I suspect a repaint job and is this a (new) dent or just some funky reflection on the passenger door? None the less if you enlarge the right side picture you can see a bunch of black flecks in the paint.

Typical dealer to leave out underside pictures and any picture of the engine bay.
Regardless of the mileage it appears to be a well kept car.
