I wish I was closer nearly a 3 hour drive one way. It is at the Pennsylvania border.

If PA still has their liquor stores closed maybe someone from Pittsburgh could make a liquor run and check out a car too. :)

across from weirton wv
I stand corrected, I either thought Steubenville was further north or not realize WV was that far north. Pittsburgh is just about straight east so I will blame it that. :)

Yeah, I took a good look at those (lousy) photos. Somehow, I have a feeling that it may not be as bad as it looks. But that moldy interior really is a killer! Looks like it's been off the road a long time. I grew up across the river in WV, about 3 miles from there. High humidity, damp fog off the river, acid rain, heavy salt in winter. Cars just didn't last around there. Our 65 Dodge was a rust bucket (especially rear quarters) by 70. Good luck! Anxious to see how this one turns out . . .

back around 86-87 a friend of mine bought a 68 polara in weirton on weir avenue behind the former weirton steel. the car sat a couple years and the mill dirt was so bad he had to sandpaper the windshield just to see out of it to drive it home.

in 58 my dad bought a new fairline and in 62 it was rotted away. and that is back before the started using calcium and brine on the roads.

35-40 minutes due south from me. If I can help out let me know.
