1967-1973 Mopar Chrysler C-body NOS exhaust resonator tail-pipe - $65 (Largo)

This is a factory NOS resonator/tail pipe for 1967 to 1973 full size Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth cars. It will fit the New Yorker, Newport, Fury, 300, Polara, Imperial, Monaco, etc. $65.00. Call Mike afternoons at 727 - 585-1707

Who knows. If I can help out even one desparate soul out there....

I just threw one away but im not sure what to do now cuz the new dual exhaust on the 72 Imp is way too loud.

good grab if you're close, not good if ya gotta ship, prob double the price at least with that weight

My parts car had one, along with the complete original single exhaust system, it went with the car to the great junkyard in the sky, going with 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 stainless true duals with an h pipe and some Flowmasters.

Nick

Neat find for a guy doing a factory resto.

Hello. I am here for the position of Project Manager. :tiphat::sideways tongue:
:laughing4:
Is that possible?
Supposed to be a cruiser, not a hot rod.
No such thing. Keep rattling the church lady's windows I say.
I have that well covered but not this car.I told them at the exhaust shop that I wanted whisper quiet. That's not what I ended up with. I'm not sure what to do but I'm open to suggestions. You guys prolly already know but the factory single exhaust cars have the gas tank pushed to one side so there's not a ton of extra room to the rear.

The Y-pipe on my car now was a NOS find from several years ago that I threw on the shelf for the right car. The right car did come along.

I would say never too loud until I start drowning out the sound of all the Harleys that are in my town lol.

On that note though is there any companies that actually make a full exhaust kit or do they have to be custom bent?

The factory exhaust always had a slight rumble when standing at the back of the car but you couldn't hear it in the car with the windows up.

Custom bent. I went stainless steel so I'll hopefully not need to ever replace it.

What mufflers are you using? I really like my Dynomax super turbos on the wagon. I have 2.5" exhaust and it sounds great! Rumbles nicely when idling, or cruising, but stand on it and they make a heck of a racket.

I'm not sure what the mufflers are I just took her to a very reputable shop & told them to make her whisper quiet. I know that they're big old mufflers but they're not enough. I'll climb under & see what brand they are.
